FR L’art fait partie de ma vie depuis mon enfance, et pour autant que je me souvienne j'ai toujours eu un crayon à la main.La nature préservée où j’ai passé la plus grande partie de ma jeunesse a nourri mon inspiration et mon envie de fixer mes impressions et mes visions sur le papier.
D’où mon goût pour les sujets du monde naturel : arbres, ruisseaux, sous-bois, clairières et leurs habitants m’ont toujours fascinée.

En grandissant, c’est tout naturellement que je me suis orientée vers l’étude des beaux-arts et de l’illustration, d’abord à Epsom en Angleterre, puis à Bordeaux en France. Ces formations m’ont donné une assise technique et m’ont permis de prendre confiance en moi pour débuter ma carrière artistique.

J’ai toujours été attirée par les univers fantastiques et ce qui se joue derrière le voile de l’immédiatement visible. J’appartiens aussi à une génération pour qui cela représente un monde d’espoir et de liberté, où la magie rend tout possible, où les rêves peuvent se réaliser.

Mes sujets de prédilection incluent les animaux, les paysages naturels, l’anatomie, le mysticisme et la spiritualité. De nature curieuse, j'aime mettre ma technique à l’épreuve en variant les médiums. Ainsi, j’utilise aussi bien l’aquarelle que la gouache, l'acrylique, la peinture à l'huile, le stylo noir, etc.
Ces différents médiums d’expression aboutissent à une grande variété de résultats qui vont du dessin détaillé et réaliste à des jeux de couleurs plus abstraits en passant par l’illustration de type livres pour enfants. J’aime jongler avec les possibles.

Mon vœu en tant qu’artiste, c’est de pouvoir exercer mon art avec assez de liberté : pour donner à voir à un public en quête d’émerveillement l’univers de magie qui est le mien et que je représente dans ma peinture.

UK Hi, my artist name is Theana.art and I am currently a freelancer located in France. I was born in France and have English and American parentage . I would like to offer my talents as an artist to give you the opportunity to appreciate my magical paintings and my illustrations.
Since Childhood I've always wanted to be an artist and as far as I can remember I've always had a pencil in my hand.
I was kind of a shy and lonely kid and art was my way of expression.

By nature, I am a very curious person and i love to try and mix all kinds of mediums such as watercolor, gouache, acrylics, oil paint, black pen etc..

I've always been drawn to and fascinated by the fantasy world. For me it’s a world of hope and freedom where magic makes anything possible and your dreams come true.

Having studied and qualified in fine art and illustration at both Epsom in England and Bordeaux in France, this education has permitted me to gain confidence to start my art career.My portfolio is produced from my imagination, photographs, images, books, films, real life... What ever i feel most inspired by.

My aim is to focus on bringing my paintings to life with phosphorescent and creating a 3D illusion. Phosphorescent paint permits a work of art to have two different aspects one during the day and one at night. These unique paintings have the capacity to be appreciated in different perspectives, in the day light the painting has a more detailed aspect whilst in the dark, the glow creates a mystical mood, thus capturing the true illusion of the subject, making the fantasy world a possibility for anyone to enjoy.

My illustration subjects include animals, nature, anatomy, mystical and spirituality.They vary from detailed and realistic aspects, illustrations for children’s books, to a more abstract outcome.
